Mike Horn and Paul Stern host a live show from Charles Krug Winery in Napa with special guests Peter Mondavi Sr. and Peter Mondavi Jr. Happy Birthday to the elder legendary winemaker on his 95th birthday.
Sunday, November 8th, marks Peter Mondavi, Sr.'s 95th birthday. Mr. Mondavi will celebrate at a family luncheon on the 21st to mark his and his wife Blanche's birthdays. Blanche turns 91 on November 22nd. They will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this coming June.
Inquiring minds want to know if Mr. Mondavi is still active in the wine industry. As president of the Charles Krug Winery, he comes to the office daily to work on winery business. Tastings, reviewing new equipment that comes into the winery and reading reports on production and harvest are part of his routine.
